Updating a longstanding logo, such as the New York Apple Association's mark, requires attention to the equity that the logo carries with it, and how a change might effect other brand elements. In an effort to pump-up the shelf presence of Casa Larga's main product lines, BrandVue developed a new 'C' icon to reflect the vineyard's heritage and to provide an eye-attractor. New names were drafted to aid in selection. A label design was also created to differentiate the wines within each series, and also tier the Signature Blends and Signature Varietals.
When two athletes decided to share their knowledge of pitching and catching with Rochester's youth, Black and White Baseball was born. BrandVue was asked to develop an edgy mark that incorporated a home plate, which was the black and white element that every pitch passes over. The result was a primary mark that includes the brand name, and two secondary marks that extend the brand for alternative usage on baseball apparel and social media.
